The Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF) program has double the reason to celebrate this year. Not only does this year mark the CQF's 20th anniversary, but also the highest number of CQF delegates in the program's two-decade history have successfully graduated in the most recent cohort.
"Commemorating 20 years of excellence in quantitative finance education alongside the largest graduating class in our history is truly a remarkable achievement," said Dr. Randeep Gug, Managing Director of the CQF and CQF Institute. "We are incredibly proud of our delegates’ hard work and dedication and are excited to see the contributions they will bring to the industry."

Awarded by the CQF Institute and delivered by Fitch Learning, the CQF program has been instrumental in shaping the careers of more than 9,000 professionals in the field of quantitative finance. Founded 20 years ago by Dr. Paul Wilmott to bridge the gap between academia and industry, the master’s-level, online program is recognized by both top-tier firms and professionals globally for its practical focus and cutting-edge syllabus.
This dual milestone serves as a testament to the program's commitment to providing outstanding education in quantitative finance. As the industry continues to evolve, the need for knowledgeable, skilled, and innovative professionals is more crucial than ever, and the CQF program is dedicated to meeting this demand.
"We have always strived to equip delegates with the necessary skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the fast-paced world of finance," added Dr. Gug. "Reaching our 20th anniversary and seeing the highest number of graduates this year further motivates us to continue to ensure our program stays at the forefront of quantitative finance education."
A special congratulations also goes to the most recent award winners for the January 2023 program:
- First in Class Award for the highest average mark: Patrick Boehler
- Wilmott Award for the highest score on the optional exam: Xinke Li
