I have always worked in risk management throughout my career. As my career evolved I had a deeper need for quantitative models. It came to a point last year when I realized it would be important to have a more structured course at the level that the CQF could offer me. I also knew about the CQF from colleagues in the industry and decided it would be a good choice for me.
The CQF has the depth that is required for my job role and with the advantage of not needing to stop work to do the course; I could combine it with my work routine. This was a key differentiator for me.
The overall hands on approach of the course is very important, rather than being totally theoretical without any link to reality, the course is really close to what we do on a daily basis. I thought it was really good value for my time and a good investment.
