Thomson Reuters Scholarship Recipient for June 2010
Thursday, July 8th, 2010
The June 2010 program has now started, and is our biggest course ever! Good luck to each and every one of you who are taking part.
A hearty congratulations goes to Gabriel Zarnauskas, the recipient of the latest Thomson Reuters Scholarship, which grants one individual per course complete complimentary access to the program.
Gabriel is a PhD physicist who is looking to do the CQF as a way of breaking into the finance industry. He is based in Sao paulo, Brazil, which is a rapidly growing center for quantitative activity. 6 people from Sao Paulo are doing the June 2010 program.
In his application, Gabriel stated that "I believe that with the knowledge acquired in the CQF course, I will be able to contribute to the development of the quantitative finance area and would spread the quality and success of the CQF."
The Thomson Reuters Scholarship has been reconfirmed for the Jan 2011 program. If you are from the Americas (anywhere in North, South or Central America) and are unemployed or a full-time student, applying for the scholarship is recommended.
